The Michigan Lighthouse Conservancy, is a 501(c)(3) organization under the laws of the State of Michigan. All donations are tax deductible. Its Federal Tax I.D. number is 38-2569827 confirmed by the Internal Revenue Service letter dated 15 May 2001. Copies of the confirmation letter can be supplied on request.

The Michigan Lighthouse Conservancy (MLC) is an IRS registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation whose mission is to promote the preservation of Michigan’s lighthouses and lifesaving station structures and the artifacts associated with them. MLC works to help restore lighthouse and life-saving structures and create appropriate reuses of these properties.
